According to appFigures new report, Google Play mobile application market beats Apple for the number of new apps for the first time in 2014.
And in the third time in a row, the developers community stood its position.
Google gained more developers in 2014 than Apple and Google combined, allowing it to top Apple’s total of 282,000 developers and Amazon’s 48,000.
The chart below show the level of growth in the App market.
With 1.43 million in its catalog, Google hit the big score compared with Apple’s 1.21 million. And Amazon in the third position growing its catalog by 90% in 2014, it still has just 293,000 apps.
